Outlook Redemption

Who am I

SrinivasanPrabakaran is my full name. My friends call me seenu, seeni, srinivas humm……. as they wish.

Hey I am a software engineer see a SOFTWARE ENGINEER wow a software engineer!?!?!?!?!!?!!? Finally.

Ok now ummm I am working with computer software, any how I am still figuring out what my software really means or what that could do? Every time I ask this question to my tester the answer is ….???@@#$

Now professionally I am computer science and engineering post graduate (M.Tech - cse).

I started my career in Bangalore, India. My first company was with Metrica systems, now working for compassites software solutions. Earlier I was working with ASP.Net web sites and now developing addins for MS Outlook.

My Understanding about outlook Redemption

Since I want to make this blog as a learning experience I would share any thing that I learn new or feel interesting.

Now the first thing that I would like to share is about the Redemption.dll.

This is an interesting dll that is used to say a kind of bypass the security patch with outlook.

For example if a third party application is trying to get the email id that is registered to outlook? Then the outlook will immediately prompt a message that some third party application is trying to access the e-mail id registered with the outlook. This prompt/message can be bypassed and the e-mail id can be obtained using the redemptions. For more details follow http://www.dimastr.com/redemption/
